Atari's kid-centric sports series returns for another season of gridiron action in Backyard Football '10. As always, gamers take control of a motley collection of fictional kids and pint-sized versions of real NFL players like Adrian Peterson, Eli Manning, and Maurice Jones-Drew. Even though the players look like middle schoolers, the action is straight out of the NFL thanks to realistic strategies and playbooks. But Backyard Football also features wacky power-ups, custom teams, and unlockable items designed to give the game an arcade feel. Solo gamers can try their hand at "Single Player," "Season", "Tournament," and "All Pro" modes, while those hungry for multiplayer action can team up in co-op play or square off in two-on-two contests. ~ Christopher Brown, All Game Guide
